Why we named a bag after dawn
Most bags are named after a place, a person, or a shape. We wanted a name that described a feeling instead.
Dawn is the part of the day that belongs to no one yet. It is quiet and unhurried, and nothing has been decided. That is the feeling we wanted a bag to carry.
The name is also a quiet promise. A bag is carried through the whole of a day: through the morning, the work, the evening, the way home. If it is going to be part of all of that, it should be named for the hour that belongs to her, before anything is asked of her.
The woman the Aube bag is made for
The Aube bag is made for a woman who moves between several lives in a single day. She leaves in the morning and returns at night, and in between she is a professional, a partner, a mother, a friend, and herself.

Softness and structure: the rose petal behind the design
Aube takes its inspiration from the softness and structure of rose petals. That contrast is the whole design. A petal is delicate to the touch and precise in the way it holds its shape. The Aube bag works the same way: a structured bag with a flap that echoes the interlacing of rose petals, soft in the hand and clear in its lines.

The Aube bag is designed in Luxembourg and produced in Ubrique, Spain, a town with a long tradition of leather goods craft. It is handmade by master artisans in Spain, from LWG-certified European leathers.
The exterior is 100% calf leather. The edges are hand painted. The stitching is precise. The interior is lined in suedine, with one interior slip pocket and one exterior back zip pocket. Each bag comes with its own dust bag and weighs approximately 0.450 kg.

One bag, worn three ways
The Aube bag is designed to move between occasions, and it can be carried three ways: on the shoulder, crossbody, or as a clutch. The shoulder strap is adjustable and removable, so the same bag moves from morning to evening without anything else about it changing.
